Shelly Marshall

After trying to retire 5 different times from Christian Education, I am very excited to have accepted the call to minister here at First Baptist School as the 3rd-8th grade Art instructor for my second year. 

My husband and I moved to Caldwell at the end of 2019 from Bridge City, Texas where we raised our two boys, Joshua and Caleb. I have been involved in Christian Ministry for 37 years and specifically Christian Education for 26 years. I have been blessed to teach grade levels from 4 year old’s through the twelfth grade. I studied at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and Liberty University online in Lynchburg, VA. My passion is to share the love of Christ to all the Lord puts in my path. I enjoy teaching through art, the amazing way our Creator designed us uniquely and with purpose so each of us might glorify His name. My life verse is Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God who loved me, and gave himself for me”. I grabbed ahold of this verse at the age of 17 when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior and was born again into God’s kingdom. I’m looking forward to the exciting ride God has for each one of us at FBS this year!
