KEN SCHULZ
I am the History teacher at First Baptist School in Caldwell, TX. I teach grades 3 through 8. This is my first year at FBS, and I am excited to be here. I taught for 31 years in public school, 22 years in Caldwell ISD, and 9 years in Bryan ISD. I have taught Middle School History for all 31 years.
I’m from Caldwell and went to school here, graduating High School in 1972. I attended Texas A&M, graduating in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. I have a lifetime teacher certification from the State of Texas for secondary History and Physical Education.
I am blessed to be married to my beautiful wife Dana for 41 years and blessed also with 3 grown children and 8 grandchildren. I feel that God has led me to be a teacher here, and I intend to share his love with all of the students and staff.
One of my favorite scriptures is James 1:17, “Every good and perfect gift is from above coming from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” I have been blessed with thousands of good and perfect gifts in my 31 years of teaching and I hope to be continually blessed by God with my students here at FBS.
