BECKY HARRIS

Hello! My name is Becky Harris, and I began this wonderful journey here at FBS August 2019. I’m married to a real life God-fearing, superhero named Chris. Together we have 3 boys named Bryce, Dylanger And Remington. They are “Mama’s Boys” and the center of my life. Chris has been blessed with me for 32 glorious years. We are total opposites. He’s quiet, reserved, soft-spoken and an answered prayer. I’m a work-in-progress with God’s arm around my shoulder and the other hand covering my mouth?! We are originally from Odessa, moved here in 2012 after Chris’ mom left us some land to share with his siblings. Still not on that land and patiently waiting to see where God plants us.

I always admired school secretaries for being the glue of the school, but never dreamed I’d be in this position. My title is Administrative Assistant, aka school secretary, but I feel more like a happy heart people greeter. I absolutely love the kids and have great respect for my co-workers. Their job is not easy, but by the end of the day it was all done in God’s love. They are true inspirations to me.

As far as my education is concerned, I am the valedictorian from “The School of Hard Knocks” and continue to grow through my experiences. I suppose you don’t have to have a degree to do my job, but I have the love of a mother, caretaker, boo-boo fixer, vomit cleaner and poop detector under my belt, so that ads to my resume.
